We would like to thank you for your 10 years of support - which resulted in close to $40,000 donated to John Stoddard Cancer Center, Above & Beyond Cancer and Break the Cycle OK200. Unfortunately, the race will not be held in 2019 due to a variety of factors - rising costs, un-availabilty of the great jackets you've all become accustomed to and lower numbers of runners each year for the past several years. 

One of the main reasons this race continued recently is to support the work of Above and Beyond Cancer. That organization is hosting a Yoga and 5K run festival on October 6, 2019 and we would encourage everyone who ran for Hot Chocolate to join A+BC  at the Elevate Festival at Waterworks Park in Des Moines in October. 

Again, thank you for your years of support!  - Terry, Jim, Dave, Dee, Alex and the rest of the Halloween Hot Chocolate Run volunteers!
